Everton’s home fixture against Chelsea is declared a sell-out

Tickets for Everton’s latest Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Chelsea at Walton Hall Park have sold out.

The Blue Girls welcome the South West Londoners to Merseyside on Sunday afternoon. Tickets for the match have been in high demand in recent weeks and the full allocation has now been sold.

Both of Everton’s opening two home matches in this season’s Barclays Women’s Super League have now sold out with their recent fixture against Leicester City having also attracted huge demand for tickets. The Blue Girls recorded a 1-0 win in that match thanks to an own goal from Leicester City goalkeeper Kirstie Levell deep in second half stoppage time.

Latest opponents Chelsea will go into this weekend’s clash as the favourites. Everton have a poor record against the Barclays Women’s Super League’s top three or four clubs, however, the future looks bright under new manager Brian Sørensen and that unwanted trend could change.

Everton are one of five clubs who are currently sharing top spot in the Barclays Women’s Super League table on six points. The Blue Girls and Chelsea have both played an additional game.

The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Everton and Chelsea kicks-off at 1pm on Sunday afternoon.
