Chelsea will be backed by a big crowd against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Sunday with general admission tickets having now sold out.
The Blues announced the news this morning via a post on their official club Twitter account. No official figure for the number of general admission tickets sold has been released, however, only premium and hospitality tickets remain.
Chelsea will take on Tottenham Hotspur in their first fixture at Stamford Bridge since the start of the 2019/2020 season. On that occasion, The Blues took on the same opponents in front of a big crowd of 24,564. Forward Beth England netted the only goal of the game after just four minutes as Chelsea recorded a narrow 1-0 victory.
The two teams have certainly developed over the last three years and this weekend’s meeting at The Bridge promises to be a thrilling affair. Chelsea are bidding for a ninth straight victory in all competitions while latest opponents Tottenham Hotspur were 8-0 winners over Brighton & Hove Albion in their last match.
