Arsenal will be hoping to close in on qualification for the quarter-finals of this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League when they face Juventus at The Emirates Stadium this evening.
The Gunners have a two-point cushion at the top of their group and victory over Italian club Juventus this evening will put them in an excellent position to qualify with two group games remaining,
Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall remains without the services of midfielder Kim Little and forward Lina Hurtig for his side’s latest match with neither player in a position to return to action. Long-term absentees Teyah Goldie and Beth Mead are also sidelined. Eidevall will have defenders Leah Williamson and Rafaelle Souza available for selection with the pair now being back to full fitness.
Juventus boss Joe Montemurro has no new injuries to contend with ahead of his side’s latest match. Captain Sara Gama is out with a hamstring problem while Amanda Nildén continues to nurse a foot injury. Teenager Nicole Arcangeli is the other notable absentee from Montemurro’s squad.
