West Ham United defender Chloe Brand has joined Eastern Region Women’s Football League (ERWFL) club Bowers & Pitsea on a dual-registration basis.
Bowers announced the news earlier today via a post on their official club Twitter account.
Brand has been involved with West Ham United’s first team in pre-season but she is yet to make a competitive senior appearance for the club. The player has been a regular for The Hammers’ WSL Academy League side so far this season. Brand has made nine appearances for the club.
The youngster joins a Bowers & Pitsea side who play their football in Step 5 of the women’s footballing pyramid. The Essex club are currently in sixth position in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League (ERWFL) table. Brand will aim to help Bowers & Pitsea build some consistency in their performances and results with the club having won four and lost five of their nine league matches this season.
Full details of Brand’s move to Bowers & Pitsea have not been disclosed, however, it is thought that the player will still train with parent club West Ham United while she will be available for WSL Academy League action where required.
