West Ham United’s teenage winger Kyvåg joins LSK Kvinner

West Ham United’s teenage winger Thea Kyvåg has completed a move to Norwegian side LSK Kvinner.

The Hammers confirmed the move via an update on their official club website this afternoon.

The Norwegian youth international joined West Ham United in the summer transfer window. Kyvåg has made 12 appearances for the East Londoners in all competitions, however, she has been offered just four starts. The youngster will now be hoping for more minutes after sealing her return to the Norwegian Toppserien.

After completing her move to LSK Kvinner, Kyvåg said “It is very nice to be back. I’ve missed Norway and I’ve missed LSK Kvinner, so I’m looking forward to it.

“The ambition is that we do better than last year, and I look forward to contributing to this. I am ready to give everything.

“I have gained a lot of experience during my time at West Ham, which in terms of football has been fantastic. I’m taking what I’ve learned into LSK Kvinner, and I’m looking forward to contributing.”

Kyvåg is the first player to leave Barclays Women’s Super League club West Ham United during the current transfer window. It is unknown whether manager Paul Konchesky will look to bring in a replacement for the winger this month.
