Goodison Park will host Barclays Women’s Super League football once again next month when Everton face neighbours Liverpool in a Merseyside derby.
The Blue Girls have not played at their spiritual home since the early stages of last season but they will return to L4 for next month’s derby against the red side of the city. The two clubs will meet at Goodison Park on Sunday 26 March 2023 with the game kicking-off at 12.30pm.
Everton currently hold the Merseyside derby bragging rights after defeating Liverpool 3-0 in the reverse fixture at Anfield back in September. Megan Finnigan opened the scoring for The Blue Girls in the ninth minute before Jess Park doubled Everton’s lead just after the half-hour mark. Hanna Bennison struck a third goal for Brian Sørensen’s side late in the match as they recorded a fine victory on the road.
Tickets for the latest Merseyside derby instalment at Goodison Park are on-sale to Everton Season Ticket and Official Members now. Members can take advantage of a 50% discount until 11.59pm on Thursday 9 February 2023, with adults priced at £4 and under-18s and over-65s priced at £2. General sale will commence at 10am on Friday 10 February 2023, with tickets priced at £8 for adults, £4 for under-18s and £4 for over-65s.
