Tottenham Hotspur have announced the news that a men’s and women’s double-header will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later this month.
Spurs announced the news this morning via a post on their official club website.
The event will take place on Saturday 20 May. Spurs’ men’s side will take on Brentford in N17 at 12.30pm before Vicky Jepson’s women will face relegation rivals Reading in the same arena at 4.15pm. All ticket holders for the men’s game will be able to remain in the stadium for the women’s fixture while ticket details for fans who want to watch the women’s team only will be announced in due course.
Spurs’ fixture against Reading could be hugely important with both clubs yet to secure their Barclays Women’s Super League status for 2023/2024. With three games left to play, Spurs have a three-point advantage on Reading while they also boast a better goal difference. Depending on results prior to that game, The Lilywhites may be able to secure survival with a positive result against The Royals.
Further details regarding the upcoming men’s and women’s double-header at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium are expected to be provided in the coming days. Fans should continue to monitor Spurs’ official club website for up to date information.
