Southampton have today launched their home kit for the 2023/2024 season and they will sell a specific kit for their women’s team for the very first time.
The first images of the new kit were issued to FAWSL Full-Time via an official club press release from The Saints.
The new kit will be worn by all sections of the club, however, Southampton have opted to specifically sell kit displaying the women’s team’s principal sponsor, Starling Bank. It is the first time that the women’s team will have their own designated kit on-sale. It is a ground-breaking move by the club and one which again highlights their strong support for their women’s section.
This season’s kit has again been manufactured by Danish sportswear brand Hummel and is a remake of the kit that Southampton held between 1987 and 1989. Iconic Southampton men’s players such as Matt Le Tissier and Alan Shearer played in that kit in the late 80s and the women’s team will be hoping to make the latest version one to remember as they look to kick on in the Barclays Women’s Championship in 2023/2024.
The 2023/2024 Southampton Women’s home shirt is priced at £55 for adults and £44 for juniors. The kit will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes. Fans can buy the new kit by clicking here.
