Sheffield United midfielder Maddy Cusack has signed a new contract which takes her into her sixth season with the club.
FAWSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blades this morning.
Cusack has been with Sheffield United for every step of their journey in the Barclays Women’s Championship so far. The player has made 79 league appearances for the club in which she has scored three goals. Last season saw Cusack made her milestone 100th appearance for Sheffield United in all competitions.
The midfielder is very much a leader for Sheffield United and she will continue her spell with the club into a sixth season after signing a new deal.
After extending her stay with The Blades, Cusack said “It feels amazing. Everyone knows how much I love this club; this club is my home and to extend my contract for another year, I’m really excited and really pleased.
“I’ve seen first-hand how the club has evolved from when I first arrived to all the changes this season and I’m really excited for the season ahead.”
Cusack follows teammates Charlotte Newsham and Bex Rayner in signing a new contract with Sheffield United this summer.
