London City Lionesses forward Jamie-Lee Napier has announced the news that she is leaving the club this summer.

The player made her announcement via her personal Twitter account earlier today.

Napier joined London City Lionesses in summer 2021 and she has gone on to be a key player for the Dartford-based club. The forward has made 43 appearances in the Barclays Women’s Championship in which she has scored seven goals. Napier was London City Lionesses’ joint-fourth highest goalscorer in league competition last season with five goals. She was also an ever-present for the club.

Announcing her London City Lionesses departure, Napier said “Thank you London City Lionesses for the last two years. I will always be grateful for my time here and for all the incredible people who helped support and push me to become a better player and person. I leave with nothing but good memories and friends for life.

“I wish the club all the best moving forward. This club will always have a special place in my heart.”

Napier becomes the 12th player to leave London City Lionesses since the end of last season. At this stage, the forward’s next career move is not yet known.
