Barclays Women’s Super League heavyweights Arsenal and Manchester City will meet at Meadow Park in the Fifth Round of this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup.
The Fifth Round draw was conducted on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Monday Night Club this evening. The 16 surviving clubs from this weekend’s fourth round ties went into the draw.
The draw has produced a mouth-watering clash with 14-time Adobe Women’s FA Cup winners Arsenal playing host to a Manchester City side that last lifted the trophy at Wembley in 2020. Other notable ties see Chelsea face second tier Crystal Palace at Kingsmeadow while Manchester United travel to Southampton. Liverpool have also been drawn against Barclays Women’s Championship opposition with The Reds set to travel to London City Lionesses.
The Adobe Women’s FA Cup Fifth Round ties are scheduled to take place on Sunday 11 February 2024.
This season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final is set to be staged at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of 11/12 May 2024.
