Tottenham Hotspur attacker Araya Dennis has signed her first professional contract with the club.
The Lilywhites announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
Dennis has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Spurs which will run until summer 2026.
The attacker spent her youth with Arsenal and Watford before joining Spurs. Dennis is yet to make her senior debut for the North Londoners but she has been loaned out to Barclays Women’s Championship club Crystal Palace to gain some first team playing experience.
In her time at Crystal Palace, Dennis has made 12 appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Championship in which she has scored two goals. The player has been exciting to watch. She has brought pace, driving runs and trickery to the Crystal Palace team.
If Dennis builds on her bright start to life as a footballer in the elite game, she could be set for an exciting future. Parent club Spurs have identified her potential and have moved quickly to tie her down on a long-term professional contract.
The attacker will stay at loan club Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season before returning to Spurs in the summer. Dennis will be hoping to break into the Spurs senior squad next season.
