Arsenal’s North London Derby clash sold out

Arsenal’s North London Derby clash against neighbours Tottenham Hotspur has officially been declared a sell-out.

The two sides are scheduled to meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Fans have been snapping up tickets for the match in their thousands in recent weeks and Arsenal have now informed WSL Full-Time that the game has completely sold out.

Arsenal have now recorded back-to-back sell-outs at the Emirates Stadium. Last month’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Manchester United was also sold out in the hours leading up to kick-off. On that occasion, Jonas Eidevall’s side sent the Arsenal fans home happy after recording a 3-1 win. Gooners were clearly delighted with that performance with a similar number of supporters now returning to the Emirates Stadium for the derby meeting with Spurs.

It is fair to say that Arsenal will be out for revenge against Spurs. The reverse fixture took place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just before Christmas with Spurs running out surprise 1-0 winners. It was The Lilywhites’ first top flight victory over Arsenal. Spurs had to survive wave after wave of Arsenal attacks to claim a huge three points.

Arsenal’s North London Derby clash against Tottenham Hotspur kicks-off at 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
