Six players to leave Crystal Palace following promotion to WSL

Crystal Palace have announced the news that six players will be leaving the club following their promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League.

The Eagles revealed their end of season released list via a post on their official club website just a short time ago.

It has been reported that Polly Doran, Anna Filbey, Shauna Guyatt, Annabel Johnson, Natalia Negri and Ellie Noble are all leaving Selhurst Park this summer.

Defender Johnson is the longest-serving player of those to be departing the club. She has spent the last five seasons with the South Londoners, making 70 appearances for Crystal Palace in the Barclays Women’s Championship.

Doran, Filbey, Guyatt, Negri and Noble all joined Crystal Palace as the club turned full-time professional in summer 2022. Doran, Filbey and Guyatt have all made significant on-field contributions for the club while goalkeeper Negri has provided some vital cover. Midfielder Noble has had a difficult time at Crystal Palace due to long-term injury but she got minutes under her belt during a loan spell with third tier club Oxford United and she can now kick on with her career next season.

Crystal Palace have also confirmed that the six players that were on loan at Selhurst Park have returned to their parent clubs.
