Everton forward Snoeijs signs new two-year deal

Everton forward Katja Snoeijs has signed a two-year contract extension with the club which will run until summer 2026.

The Blue Girls announced news of their latest contract renewal via a post on their official club website this morning.

Snoeijs joined Everton from French club Bordeaux in summer 2022. The forward has netted 10 goals in 40 outings for The Blue Girls in the Barclays Women’s Super League. With Everton looking to bolster their goal-rate next season, Snoeijs is likely to be an important player in manager Brian Sørensen’s attack.

After signing her new deal at Everton, Snoeijs said “It’s always nice to get clarity of your next step in your career and I’m really happy for that.

“I’ve been here for two seasons, but I feel there’s still so much I can give to the team and to the Club. As a player, you’re always hungry to do more.

“Finishing the season the way we did as a group, and also my own individual performances, I think gives us a lot of confidence to build on in pre-season and for next season, too.

“I want to keep developing and I’m happy I can continue my journey at Everton.”

Snoeijs follows teammate Elise Stenevik in signing a new deal with Everton this summer.
