Charlton Athletic midfielder Siber signs professional deal

Charlton Athletic midfielder Glória Siber has signed her first professional contract with the club.

The Addicks announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.

Siber joined the South East Londoners last summer following a spell with AFC Wimbledon and she spent her first year at Charlton Athletic developing within the club’s Professional Game Academy League side. The 20-year-old Hungarian international midfielder is yet to make a senior appearance for Charlton Athletic, although she was named on the bench for The Addicks’ Barclays Women’s Championship fixture at Watford back in April.

The midfielder is highly-rated by Charlton Athletic boss Karen Hills and she will be hoping to get the opportunity to make her mark at first team level in the upcoming campaign.

After signing her first professional deal at The Valley, Siber said “I feel really good and excited about signing for Charlton. I’ve been working very hard to get this opportunity and show everyone what I’m capable of.”

Siber becomes the seventh player to sign a new contract with Charlton Athletic this summer. Carla Humphrey, Karin Muya, Kiera Skeels, Beth Roe, Mia Ross and Elisha N’Dow have also extended their deals with The Addicks during the close season.
