Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Finnish international goalkeeper Milla-Maj Majasaari.
The Eagles announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website this morning.
The 24-year-old joins Crystal Palace off the back of a spell with Belgian club RSC Anderlecht where she spent the second half of last season.
Majasaari started out with Finnish club NiceFutis before going on to represent TPS and FC Honka. In 2020, the player left her native Finland to join Swedish club AIK Fotbol where she spent three seasons before moving to IK Uppsala. She joined latest club RSC Anderlecht in January this year.
On the international stage, Majasaari is a senior international for Finland. She has two caps to her name so far.
After joining Crystal Palace, Majasaari said “Everybody I have spoken to has been so nice. I have been told about the project and have seen the facilities and I am so impressed, and excited to get started.”
Majasaari is Crystal Palace’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window. The Eagles have announced two new additions this morning with Chelsea midfielder Lexi Potter also joining the club on a season-long loan deal following a successful initial spell in South London last season.
