Gotham FC sign West Ham United forward Ademiluyi

American National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Gotham FC have completed the signing of West Ham United forward Princess Ademiluyi on a permanent deal.

The Bats announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.

It has been reported that Gotham FC have paid an undisclosed fee to West Ham United to secure the player’s services.

Ademiluyi is a product of the West Ham United academy system. The youngster first broke into the senior squad at just 16 years of age. Ademiluyi has gone on to make 23 first team appearances for The Hammers in all competitions. She has largely been used as a substitute at West Ham United but the player has a big future ahead of her in the professional game.

On the international stage, Ademiluyi has been progressing through the England pathway. She has represented The Young Lionesses up to and including Under-19 level. Ademiluyi’s performances in the England youth set-up have often caught the eye.

Ademiluyi joins a Gotham FC side that have competed strongly in the NWSL since rebranding from Sky Blue FC back in 2021. The club were play-off champions in 2023 before following that achievement up with a CONCACAF Women’s Challenge Cup success last year.
