Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of Arsenal forward Vivienne Lia on a season-long loan deal.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Reds this evening.
The 18-year-old has been on Arsenal’s books for the last four years. Lia has successfully negotiated her way through The Gunners’ senior ranks to the fringes of the first team. The youngster made her senior debut for Arsenal in a Subway Women’s League Cup fixture against London City Lionesses in 2024.
Lia gained further experience of regular first team football in a loan spell with Southampton in the second half of last season.
After adding Lia to her squad, Nottingham Forest boss Carly Davies said “We are delighted to welcome England youth international Vivienne Lia to the Club on loan from current Champions League winners Arsenal.
“Viv spent last season on loan with Southampton displaying her tenacity, pace, power and trickery against some of the top teams in the league. She brings exceptional 1-v-1 technical ability, maturity beyond her years, and a hunger to make an impact that aligns perfectly with the mentality we’ve been building at the Club.
“Viv’s creative spark in the front line and her work rate off the ball will enhance our tactical options and strengthen squad depth as we continue pushing for success this season.”
Lia could make her Nottingham Forest debut against Newcastle United at The City Ground on Sunday.
