West Ham United have completed the signing of French international defender Estelle Cascarino on a loan deal from Juventus.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this morning.
The 28-year-old will spend the remainder of the season with the East Londoners.
Cascarino has plenty of experience playing at the top level. She started out with French giants OL Lyonnes before later going on to represent Paris FC, Bordeaux, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. She also had a brief loan spell with Manchester United in 2022/2023.
On the international stage, Cascarino has been capped by France on 18 occasions while she has scored one goal for her country.
After joining West Ham United on loan, Cascarino said “I’m really pleased to be joining West Ham United. I know that West Ham is a big club in England and I’m excited to be part of this project.
“I’m a technical player who is aggressive in my defending. I’m here to bring my leadership and experience to help the team on and off the pitch.”
“I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far in my career and I’m looking forward to this next chapter at West Ham, in the best league in the world.”
Cascarino is new West Ham United boss Rita Gaurino’s first signing.
