Spurs full-back Morris signs new deal

Tottenham Hotspur full-back Ella Morris has signed a contract extension with the club.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites just a short time ago.

The length of the 23-year-old’s new deal has been left undisclosed, however, the Club have confirmed that the player has been retained for the long-term.

Morris joined Spurs in summer 2024 after opting to leave former club Southampton. The defender featured in 13 games for The Lilywhites in her first season in North London.

The youngster sustained an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury last May and she is currently in rehabilitation. Morris could make her competitive return in spring.

After opting to extend her contract with Spurs, Morris said “I’m very excited. It’s an amazing club to be a part of. Just seeing the growth of the team from last season to this season, how Martin [Ho] has come in and given the girls a sense of belief. It’s an exciting time to be a part of it, where we’re pushing in the league now. It’s definitely a club with ambition, and a club I want to be a part of.”

Morris is one of the most exciting prospects in the Barclays Women’s Super League with the player having been on England’s radar prior to her injury.
