Spurs forward Graham joins Ipswich Town on loan

Tottenham Hotspur forward Kit Graham has joined Ipswich Town on a loan deal until the end of the season with the option to make the arrangement permanent.

The Tractor Girls announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.

The 30-year-old attacker has spent the last seven years with Spurs. Graham joined the North Londoners off the back of a record-breaking spell with Charlton Athletic. The player has gone on to make 91 appearances for Spurs in all competitions in which she has scored 11 goals.

Long-term injuries and a lack of playing opportunities have impacted Graham’s progression at Spurs in recent times and she will now hope to get regular football under her belt at Ipswich Town.

After joining the Suffolk side on loan, Graham said “I’m really excited to be an Ipswich Town player.

“The conversations I’ve had have been really good and I definitely feel like I can bring something to the group which is going to help during the second half of this season.

“The infrastructure and facilities that are available to us players are excellent and I feel like this is a great next step for me.”

Graham could go straight into the Ipswich Town squad for Sunday’s Barclays WSL2 fixture against Bristol City.
