Aston Villa forward Chasity Grant has signed a new contract with the club.
The Villans announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.
The 24-year-old Dutch international attacker joined Aston Villa from Eurojackpot Vrouwen Eredivisie club Ajax in summer 2024. Grant arrived at Villa Park having experienced plenty of success back home in The Netherlands. She won a league title with former club Ajax while she also lifted the Vrouwen Eredivisie Cup and two KNVB Women’s Cups. Grant also represented Ajax in European competition in the early rounds of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Grant has gone on to make 38 appearances for Aston Villa in all competitions. The player is an important member of The Villans’ attacking unit and the club have therefore moved quickly to retain her services for an extended period.
After agreeing a contract extension with Grant, Aston Villa’s Director of Women’s Football, Marisa Ewers said “We’re very happy that Chasity has decided to commit to our club.
“She’s an exciting talent and someone we were keen to keep as part of our project.”
Aston Villa are next in action when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton in the Barclays Women’s Super League on Sunday afternoon.
