Crystal Palace have announced the departure of midfielder Chloë Arthur.
The Eagles revealed the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
The 31-year-old Scotland international is one of Crystal Palace’s longest-serving players after joining the club on a free transfer in summer 2022. The midfielder has gone on to make 63 appearances for the South Londoners in all competitions. Arthur has won two promotions with Crystal Palace. She was a Barclays WSL2 title-winner in 2023/2024 and helped the club to claim the second automatic promotion place this term.
Arthur has endured a challenging season. She has been able to make just five appearances for Crystal Palace in Barclays WSL2. The player will now look forward towards a new challenge in 2026/2027.
The midfielder is the first player to be leaving Crystal Palace this summer. Further departures are expected with The Eagles keen to enjoy a successful return to the Barclays Women’s Super League next season. Crystal Palace played top tier football for the very first time last season but they struggled throughout and were immediately relegated back to Barclays WSL2 after finishing bottom of the table.
Arthur will officially leave Crystal Palace when her current contract expires at the end of next month.
