Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Georgie Ferguson has signed a new two-year contract with the club.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Tricky Trees this afternoon.
The 23-year-old has spent the last two seasons with Nottingham Forest after joining the club from Birmingham City. Ferguson was a FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division title-winner in 2024/2025 before helping Nottingham Forest to establish themselves in the second tier this term.
Ferguson largely provided goalkeeping competition at Nottingham Forest this season but she is very much one for the future at The City Ground. She will be keen to push for more regular minutes for The Tricky Trees in 2026/2027.
After signing on with Nottingham Forest for two more years, Ferguson said “I’ve really enjoyed being at Forest and believe in what the Club is building. We established ourselves last year and we are all excited to get back to work and push for even more next season.
“I’m looking forward to working with the new head coach and continuing to develop as a player to help the team as much as possible.”
Further Nottingham Forest squad news will be announced by the club in due course.
