Everton announce six summer departures

Everton have announced the news that six players will be leaving the club when their contracts expire at the end of the month.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Toffees this morning.

It has been revealed that Katja Snoeijs, Emily Ramsey, Toni Payne, Kenzie Weir, Melissa Lawley and Elise Stenevik are all moving on this summer.

Forward Snoeijs, goalkeeper Ramsey and defender Stenevik are all long-serving members of the Everton squad. The trio joined the club in summer 2022. Attacker Payne and winger Lawley have both been on Everton’s books for the past two seasons while young defender Weir came through the club’s academy system before claiming some honours at senior level.

After Everton’s summer exit list was announced, the club’s Technical Director, Nick Cox said “Everyone at Everton thanks all our departing players for their efforts, service and commitment during their time with the Club and we wish them the very best for the future as they move onto the next stage of their careers.”

Further Everton squad news will be announced in due course. The club are expected to make a number of additions before the start of the new season.
