Arsenal sign Swiss international midfielder Reuteler

Arsenal have completed the signing of Swiss international midfielder Géraldine Reuteler on a free transfer.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Gunners this morning.

The 27-year-old joins Arsenal upon the expiry of her contract with German Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. Reuteler spent eight years with Frankfurt after joining the club in 2018 under their old 1. FFC Frankfurt identity. Prior to her time in Germany, Reuteler featured for Swiss club FC Luzern.

On the international stage, Reuteler has been capped by Switzerland on 91 occasions in which she has scored 17 goals. She was crowned Swiss Women’s Player of the Year in 2024.

After joining Arsenal, Reuteler said “Arsenal is one of the best clubs in the world and I’m so proud that I can be here. I love the way this team plays and I can’t wait to test myself against the best players here in the WSL.

“I want to add to the history and success of this football club and I’m looking forward to walking out at the Emirates in front of all our supporters.”

Reuteler is Arsenal’s third signing of the summer transfer window. Georgia Stanway and Selina Cerci have also signed on with The Gunners this summer.
