West Ham United re-sign defender Cascarino

West Ham United have re-signed defender Estelle Cascarino on a permanent basis.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Hammers this morning.

The 29-year-old joins West Ham United from Italian Serie A Athora club Juventus. She has signed a three-year deal at The Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Cascarino enjoyed a successful loan spell with West Ham United in the second half of last season. She made 12 appearances for The Hammers in all competitions.

The defender has also played for Lyon, Paris FC, Bordeaux, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United in her career to date.

On the international stage, Cascarino has been capped by France on 18 occasions while she has scored one goal for her country.

After re-joining West Ham United, Cascarino said “I feel really happy to be back at West Ham United.

“I made my decision quickly that I wanted to be back here permanently. From the beginning, this Club has felt like home, and I enjoyed every minute of my time here last season.

“I’m looking forward to being here now for pre-season, to work with Rita [Guarino] and her staff and this group of players.”

West Ham United have now signed eight players in the summer transfer window.
