Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of London City Lionesses goalkeeper Emily Orman on a loan deal for the 2026/2027 season.
Wolves announced news of the deal via a post on their official club website this evening.
The 23-year-old joined London City Lionesses from Chelsea in summer 2024 and she went on to win the Barclays WSL title with The Pride in her first season with the club. Orman made 18 league appearances in London City Lionesses’ promotion-winning campaign. The player continued to compete strongly for a place in the side last term.
On the international stage, Orman has represented England at various youth levels up to and including Under-23 level.
After bringing Orman to Wolves, the club’s head of Women & Girls, Russ Fraser said “Emily is another exciting addition to our squad ahead of our first season in WSL 2. Even as a younger goalkeeper, she has already built up a wealth of experience at the highest level which will be invaluable to us. Competition among our goalkeepers is incredibly strong, and we’re confident Emily will add even more quality and an elite mentality to that group.
“Her signing is another statement of our ambition as we prepare for the challenges of the season ahead.”
Orman is the latest of several summer arrivals at Wolves.
