Manchester City will be hoping to return to winning ways in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League when they face West Ham United at The Academy Stadium this afternoon.
The Cityzens have lost back-to-back games in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League against Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal but they did defeat Leicester City 6-0 in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup quarter-finals in midweek.
Manchester City head coach Gareth Taylor will welcome back Demi Stokes, Ruby Mace and Alanna Kennedy after they all missed the midweek win against Leicester City while midfielder Keira Walsh will be hoping for further minutes. The Cityzens continue to be without seven first team players while midfielder Vicky Losada is also thought to be a doubt with the player struggling with an ankle injury.
West Ham United travel to the North West without injured quartet Maisy Barker, Grace Fisk, Lisa Evans and Grace Garrad. Czech international midfielder Katerina Svitkova returned to the squad for last weekend’s 4-0 victory over Leicester City and she is again pushing for minutes after coming through unscathed.
