England will contest their final FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023 qualifier against Luxembourg at Stoke City’s bet365 Stadium.
The fixture will take place on Tuesday 6 September 2022 and will kick-off at 7.30pm. The game is scheduled to come just three days after England’s penultimate qualifier against Austria.
England will play at the bet365 Stadium for the first time this year. The venue has been regularly used by The Football Association in the past both for Lionesses and Team GB fixtures.
Speaking following the announcement, head coach Sarina Wiegman said “Of course we are all focused on the EURO right now but we know the World Cup is a major target for us as a squad. Once again, we will be playing in a great venue and I know the fans in Stoke will be delighted to finally get the chance to come out and see us play live. As it will be our first home match after the summer, I hope there will be extra reason for us to celebrate on the night.”
Tickets are now on sale to My England Football members and will go on general sale tomorrow. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults, £5 for concessions (over 65s and students) and £2.50 for under-16s while discounts are also available for group bookings.
