Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of former Brighton & Hove Albion forward Ellie Brazil on an initial two-year deal according to reports on the club’s official website.
The 23-year-old moves to the North Londoners on a free transfer after leaving former club Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this summer.
It has been reported that while Brazil has signed on with Spurs until summer 2024, the club hold the option of extending the arrangement by a further year.
Brazil made 59 Barclays Women’s Super League appearances for former club Brighton & Hove Albion in her four seasons with the Sussex club while she scored four goals.
After securing Brazil’s services, Spurs head coach Rehanne Skinner said “I’m really pleased to welcome Ellie to Spurs. Having had significant experience across the England youth teams and played club football at home and in Europe, she has a vast experience base that will enhance the team, but has years ahead of her in her career as well. Ellie is a versatile forward who is hard-working and committed, and she will add a further dimension to our forward line.”
Brazil becomes Spurs’ second signing of the summer transfer window following the recent addition of former Chelsea midfielder Drew Spence.
