Aston Villa defender Elisha N’Dow has joined second tier side Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan deal.
The Addicks announced news of the deal via a post on their official club website this evening.
N’Dow joins the South East Londoners after spending the second half of last season on loan at Coventry United. The defender helped The Red and Greens to avoid relegation to the FA Women’s National League on the final day on the season. N’Dow has made more than 100 appearances in all competitions for parent club Aston Villa and she was a Barclays Women’s Championship winner with The Villans in 2019/2020.
After completing her loan move to Charlton Athletic, N’Dow said “It is great, I have been with the girls for a couple of days. It has been good getting to get to know the players and the staff, and now I am just excited to get going with the games.
“I have played against Charlton in recent years, at Coventry previously and before when Villa were in the Championship. They play the same style that I like and that is what has intrigued me most.”
N’Dow is The Addicks’ second signing of the day with the club having also loaned Chelsea forward Lucy Watson for the 2022/2023 campaign.
