Ticket sales for Arsenal’s UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final, second leg tie against VfL Wolfsburg at The Emirates Stadium have now hit 20,000.

The Gunners provided the latest ticket update via a post on their official club Twitter account this morning.

Tickets initially went on-sale after Arsenal defeated German club Bayern Munich 2-1 on aggregate in their quarter-final tie at The Emirates Stadium last Wednesday. Fans swifly snapped up their tickets for the home leg of Arsenal’s semi-final tie with thousands being claimed in a matter of hours. Ticket sales are still progressing quickly with 20,000 now sold.

Arsenal set the British attendance record for a UEFA Women’s Champions League fixture when 21,307 attended their quarter-final, second leg tie against Bayern Munich. The record is now certain to be smashed when VfL Wolfsburg arrive in N7 early next month.

Arsenal will travel to Germany to face semi-final opponents VfL Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena in the first leg on Sunday 23 April 2023. The return leg will take place at The Emirates Stadium on Monday 1 May 2023, however, the final details of that fixture are yet to be determined.
