Little has given most of her career to the North Londoners. The Scot has enjoyed two spells as an Arsenal player between 2008 and 2013 and from 2017 to current date. The midfielder is a club legend and is adored by everyone involved with The Gunners.

In her Arsenal career, Little has made 290 appearances in all competitions while she has scored an impressive 164 goals. The player has won six league titles with The Gunners along with five FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cups and three Vitality Women’s FA Cups. Little will be hoping to add to her personal medal collection before the end of the season with Arsenal still competing for the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Barclays Women’s Super League title.

After signing her new deal, Little said “I’m delighted to sign a new contract at Arsenal. Thinking back to when I first joined at the age of 17, I’m so proud of the progress that we have made together. Arsenal has been such an important part of my life and over time, this club has become my home.

“It continues to be a privilege to represent Arsenal and I’m still so motivated to move this club forward and to be a part of its success.”

If Arsenal are to win more trophies this season, they will have to do it without having their captain on the field. Little is currently nursing a hamstring injury and won’t return to fitness until next season.
