Spurs midfielder Graham signs new deal

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kit Graham has signed a new one-year contract extension with the club until summer 2025.

The Lilywhites announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.

Graham is into her fifth season with Spurs after joining the club from Barclays Women’s Championship side Charlton Athletic in summer 2019. The midfielder has made 57 appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Super League in which she has scored seven goals.

The 28-year-old is now one of the longest-serving players at Spurs. She has featured for the club in three different managerial eras, impressing each management team in turn. Graham has primarily provided Spurs with an attacking threat, although she now finds herself operating deeper in midfield for latest boss Robert Vilahamn.

After signing her new deal, Graham said “I was really excited [to sign a new contract]. It was a no-brainer when the club approached me and offered a new contract, this is where I want to be.

“I am enjoying the project under Robert [Vilahamn] and you can see the progress that we have made this season. I can only see the club getting better and bigger, so it’s exciting and I want to be a part of it.”

Spurs and Graham are next in action on Sunday when they travel to Merseyside for a Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Liverpool.
