Everton and Liverpool will contest next month’s Merseyside derby in the FA Women’s Super League at Goodison Park.
The Blue Girls won the reverse fixture 1-0 at Anfield following an error by Liverpool keeper Anke Preuss in the first half.
The pair are scheduled to go into battle again on Sunday 9 February and Everton have announced that the match will be switched to Goodison Park and will kick-off at 2pm.
The occasion will see the pair go head-to-head at Everton’s spiritual home for the very first time in history and the home side will be hoping to replicate the 23,500-strong crowd who watched the pair go head-to-head at Anfield in November.
Everton have announced that season ticket, lounge and official members will be able to watch the match free of charge while all other fans will have the opportunity to buy their tickets for just £6 for adults and £3 for under-16s and concessions. Fans can also enjoy the action in style with a £10 premium ticket which additionally includes a pie and a pint or soft drink.
The Blue Girls were scheduled to move to their new home at Walton Hall Park in time for the Liverpool fixture but their opening match at the home of Liverpool County FA could now be against Manchester United on 23 February.
