Liverpool’s FA Women’s Super League fixture against reigning champions Arsenal will be staged at the Deva Stadium.
The Reds have agreed to move the fixture from Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park with the pitch in a sub-standard condition due to ongoing drainage problems.
Liverpool have this evening announced that the Arsenal fixture will now be held in Chester on Thursday 13 February with the match kicking-off at 7pm at the Deva Stadium.
All tickets which have been already sold will remain valid but fans who are now unable to attend the clash can apply for a refund by contacting the club via E-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The club are currently understood to be making plans for their remaining fixtures this season. It is likely that more matches will be switched from Prenton Park to an alternative venue with tenants Tranmere Rovers unable to undergo much-needed renovation work on the pitch until the season has come to an end.
Liverpool have four home fixtures scheduled to be played while they must also rearrange the recent postponed matches against Manchester United and Birmingham City.
The Reds’ clash against Arsenal at the Deva Stadium is set to be screened live on BT Sport on Thursday evening.
