The seventh edition of the excellent ‘We are the girls in claret and blue podcast’ is out tomorrow and FA Women’s Super League Full-Time have been speaking with co-presenters Reece Lammin and Allie Coker ahead of the podcast’s release.
The podcast provides an insight into all things West Ham United each week while a number of other stories from the women’s footballing world are put under the spotlight.
On this week’s podcast, Reece and Allie are joined by well-respected football writer and Sheffield United official media officer, Rich Laverty. They will be discussing England’s performance against Japan in New York yesterday as well as previewing the Lionesses’ final tournament fixture against Spain at the Toyota Stadium in Dallas on Wednesday evening.
It promises to be an excellent listen with so many different opinions having already been voiced about the Lionesses throughout their SheBelieves campaign. Has the 1-0 victory over Asako Takakura’s Japan side lifted some of the gloom surrounding England’s recent performances under manager Phil Neville? Reece, Allie and Rich will put the current situation under the microscope.
The ‘We are the girls in claret and blue podcast’ will be available for download from Tuesday on Spotify, iTunes and Google Podcast while it will be initially launched on Twitter @GirlsinClaret.
