Bristol City midfielder Carla Humphrey is recovering well from her foot injury and has been pictured kicking a ball once again.
The 23-year-old Brampton-born midfielder has not featured for The Robins since their 11-1 defeat by Arsenal at Meadow Park in early December.
Humphrey took to Twitter last night to provide Bristol City fans with an update of her situation and it is good news with the player posting a picture of herself kicking a ball in her back garden whilst following her individual training plan provided by the club.
SO happy to be back kicking a ball around again after nearly 4 months out😁⚽️🏃🏻♀️ #StayHomeWorkOut

Humphrey is in her third season at the Stoke Gifford Stadium after joining the club from Arsenal ahead of the 2017/2018 campaign. The midfielder has made eight appearances in the FA Women’s Super League for manager Tanya Oxtoby this season, all of which have been from the start of matches.
After spending her early days playing for the boys’ club of hometown side Brampton, Humphrey joined the youth system at Rushden & Diamonds where she spent two years. In 2006, she made the move to Arsenal and signed her first professional deal with the club over eight years later. The midfielder made a handful of first team appearances for The Gunners either side of a loan spell at Doncaster Rovers Belles.
Humphrey has played an important role for current club Bristol City since her arrival in the South West in 2017.
