Popular Arsenal midfielder Jordan Nobbs has signed a new contract with the club which will take her into her second decade of service in North London.
The 27-year-old Stockton-on-Tees-born England international ace joined The Gunners from Sunderland way back in 2010 and she has gone on to lift a number of trophies with the club.
Since joining Arsenal, Nobbs has won three FA Women’s Super League titles, five FA Women’s Continental League Cups and four Women’s FA Cups. The player also broke into the England senior side soon after her arrival at Meadow Park.
Arsenal released news that Nobbs has extended her contract with the club on their official website earlier this afternoon. The length of the player’s new deal in North London has been left undisclosed.
In her decade of service at Meadow Park, Nobbs has made 206 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions while she has netted 66 goals. She was voted the FA Player of the Year in 2016 and FA Players’ Player of the Year the following year.
Given the player’s relatively young age, Nobbs has plenty of time left in her career to create even more history with Arsenal and lift many more trophies with the club. The Gunners are still challenging for three pieces of silverware this season and Nobbs will be keen to help her side to glory both domestically and in Europe.
