Fans of both the Barclays FA Women’s Super League and FA Women’s Championship do not expect the 2019/2020 campaign to resume according to the results of an exclusive FA Women’s Super League Full-Time fan poll conducted earlier today.
Both competitions have been suspended since mid-March due to the Coronavirus pandemic while a ball has not been kicked in either division since February.
A decision on whether both divisions can continue could be made before the end of this month but fans are not hopeful that either will be able to resume. We asked our Twitter followers whether they believe that the top two divisions will continue and the outcome was crystal clear with 85% of those who voted stating that they expect the season to be over.

Manchester City lead the Barclays FA Women’s Super League by a point but Chelsea could leapfrog them if they were to win their game in hand. At the bottom, Liverpool are a point from safety, although 11th-placed side Birmingham City have a game in hand.
The FA Women’s Championship sees Aston Villa hold a six-point lead over their nearest title challengers. Any of five different teams could finish bottom of the table, although there is likely to be no relegation due to the third tier having been declared void.
