Striker Courtney Sweetman-Kirk has left Barclays FA Women’s Super League club Liverpool as revealed by The Reds via their official website yesterday.
The forward has spent the last two years as a Liverpool player after joining the club from city rivals Everton in summer 2018.

6 – The forward has been involved in 13 of Liverpool’s 14 matches in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League this season but she has started six of those games on the bench.
0 – Despite ending the 2018/2019 campaign as The Reds’ top goalscorer, Sweetman-Kirk has failed to net in the league for the club this season.
84 – The forward’s 84th-minute strike in the 6-0 FA Women’s Continental League Cup victory at Blackburn Rovers in November was the only goal which she has scored for Liverpool this season.
2 – Sweetman-Kirk twice netted braces for Liverpool during the 2018/2019 campaign, those doubles coming against Reading and Yeovil Town in the FA Women’s Super League.
1,342 – Liverpool gave Sweetman-Kirk 1,342 minutes of league football last season compared to just 600 minutes this term.
11 – The striker has not scored in any of her last 11 appearances for Liverpool, a run which dates back to 21 November 2019.

Sweetman-Kirk has left Liverpool before the season has officially been ended, however, the termination of the Barclays FA Women’s Super League is expected to be confirmed by The Football Association this week.
