POLL: Fans of London City Lionesses confident of success under new coach Fallon

New London City Lionesses first team head coach Lisa Fallon is being tipped to bring further success to the FA Women’s Championship club according to the results of an exclusive FA Women’s Super League Full-Time Twitter fan poll.

The former Chelsea and Cork City coach was unveiled as former London City Lionesses first team head coach John Bayer’s replacement at Princes Park this morning. Fallon will be assisted by another highly-rated coach in Melissa Phillips. The Pride informed FA Women’s Super League Full-Time of the news via an official club press release.

After learning of Fallon’s appointment, FA Women’s Super League Full-Time launched an exclusive poll on Twitter in which we asked fans whether they think that their new managerial duo will help the club push on towards the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.

Fans voted in their numbers with 70.4% stating that they believe that significant progress will be made under the leadership of Fallon and her assistant Phillips.

The pair arrive in Dartford with impressive CVs. Fallon has the Irish Premier Division title and FAI Cup under her belt from her time coaching with Cork City while she has worked at senior international level with the Northern Ireland men’s squad. Fallon also has experience in Gaelic football with Dublin’s 2018 All-Ireland winning Gaelic football team.

Assistant Phillips has worked in a similar role during her time at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) A Senior Licence holder helped guide her side to the 2018 Ivy League title.

The pair have taken charge of the London City Lionesses with immediate effect.
