Tottenham Hotspur ace takes another step forward from long term injury

Tottenham Hotspur prodigy Jessica Naz looks to be well of the way to making her return from injury after the player posted a video of herself on the training pitch earlier today.

The 19-year-old Londoner was expected to be one of the players to watch in Spurs’ first campaign in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League.

Naz has been made to wait for her opportunity to take the top flight by storm though with the player having suffered an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in pre-season which ruled her out of the curtailed 2019/2020 campaign.

Almost 12 months on from her injury blow, Naz is looking as sharp as ever with the player now building up her fitness. Fans got a glimpse Naz on the training pitch earlier today after she posted a video on her Twitter account.

Naz was a revelation for Spurs as they won promotion from the FA Women’s Championship in 2018/2019. The attacker netted four goals in 17 games as her side won a hotly contested battle for the second promotion place. Naz scored the Spurs goal as they secured promotion with a 1-1 draw at in-form Aston Villa in May 2019.

The England Under-19 international is one of the brightest young talents in this country and Spurs fans will be delighted to see her get that long-awaited opportunity to impress this season.
