Former Crystal Palace defender Hannah Mackenzie has joined FA Women’s National League Southern Division club Oxford United for the coming season.
The 25-year-old joins The Yellows on a free transfer after leaving former club Crystal Palace earlier this summer.
Mackenzie had spent the last two years with The Eagles, helping the club make the step up the the FA Women’s Championship. She made 31 appearances for Palace in the league across the past two campaigns. The player took no prisoners during her time at Hayes Lane with Mackenzie having been booked on 10 occasions.
The defender combines her football with a teaching role. Her lifestyle is known to be very hectic but the move to Oxford United will see Mackenzie reduce her footballing commute by approximately half, allowing her to continue her career.
