Everton forward Valerie Gauvin and West Ham United midfielder Kenza Dali have been named in the French squad for the upcoming international friendly matches against England and the United States.
Les Bleues will provisionally face England in Caen on Friday 9 April before taking on France in Le Havre on Tuesday 13 April. Both games are currently set to go ahead, however, the COVID-19 situation in France may yet alter those plans.
The French Football Federation, The FFF, have this morning announced head coach Corinne Diacre’s 26-player squad via a post on their official Twitter account with Everton’s Gauvin and West Ham United’s Dali both making the cut.

Both Gauvin and Dali will link-up with the French squad for the first time in 2021 with the pair having not featured in February’s double-header with Switzerland due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. In the case of Gauvin, she has not represented her country since playing in the goalless draw with Austria in October in UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 qualifying.
Dali netted her first France goal in more than two years when she scored in their 12-0 win over Kazakhstan in December, her most recent appearance in a blue shirt.
France have not faced England since meeting in the SheBelieves Cup in 2018 while they last played the United States in the quarter-finals at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019.
