Tottenham Hotspur forward Rianna Dean has announced her departure after spending the last three years in North London.
The 22-year-old Uxbridge-born attacker joined Spurs from Millwall Lionesses in summer 2018 and fired the club to promotion to the Barclays FA Women’s Super League in her first season.
Dean netted 14 league goals in that promotion-winning campaign before hitting four more goals in 30 top flight appearances.
With Spurs now planning for a third season in the Barclays FA Women’s Super League, forward Dean has revealed that she will not be with the club in 2021/2022. She confirmed her departure via a post on her personal Twitter account this morning.

Dean started her career on the red side of North London with Arsenal. She successfully made the step up from the club’s academy system to feature in the first team squad, although she found senior playing opportunities difficult to obtain.
In 2017, Dean joined Millwall Lionesses where she enjoyed a successful season. The forward netted 10 goals in all competitions for the South Londoners as they finished the campaign in third position in the old FA Women’s Super League 2.
Dean then made the move to Spurs and the forward has played an important part in helping the club move up the pyramid and establish themselves as a top flight side.
