Everton linked with third Rosengard player with Manchester City interest also rumoured

Everton are rumoured to be interested in Rosengard forward Anna Anvegard according to reports in the Swedish media.

The Blue Girls are expected to be very active in the summer transfer window with manager Willie Kirk having indicated that he is looking to add up to seven new faces to his squad.

Everton have recently been linked with Rosengard pair Nathalie Björn and Hanna Bennison and Swedish media outlet Sportbladet have now indicated that the Barclays FA Women’s Super League club have an interest in a third Rosengard player with forward Anvegard said to be on their radar.

The Swedish international, who has netted nine goals in 18 games for her country, is believed to have an uncertain long term future with Rosengard after successfully overcoming injury. Everton’s rumoured interest in Anvegard seems to just be speculation at this stage though with Rosengard not believed to have received any communication from England.

Anvegard joined Rosengard in 2019 following a successful spell with fellow Swedish club Vaxjo DFF in which she netted over a century of goals. The player was the Damallsvenskan’s top scorer last season with 16 goals in 21 games.

Everton’s Barclays FA Women’s Super League rivals Manchester City are also being linked with Anvegard, although again, no approach is thought to have been made.
