Coventry United defender Nikki Miles has announced the news that she is leaving the club.
The player is very much part of the history of the club with Miles having served both Coventry United in their current form and also in their previous form of Coventry City in a career which has spanned two decades.
Miles took to her personal Twitter account to confirm her Coventry United departure. She follows goalkeeper Sue Wood, midfielder Helen Dermody and attackers Maz Gauntlett and Amber Hughes in leaving the Warwickshire club during the close season.

Miles has helped Coventry United climb the footballing pyramid and she has stepped up to become a second tier footballer. The defender has been a regular starter for the club in the FA Women’s Championship era. Miles has started 31 of Coventry United’s 34 fixtures in the division since their promotion in 2019. She has also netted two league goals.
With five players having already left the Butts Park Arena this summer, manager Jay Bradford seems likely to make a number of additions to her squad. Coventry United will be hoping to build on two 10th-place finishes in the FA Women’s Championship next season and to do that, the team will undoubtedly need to be strengthened in several different areas.
